Common questions
What happens when I hit a limit?
You keep full access to everything already added — you just can't add more until you upgrade. Upgrade at any time and your data carries over instantly. No migration, no data loss.
What counts as a 'device'?
Any laptop or phone tracked in the Shelf. Devices moved to the Archive don't count against the limit. Resource inventory items (spare parts, peripherals) are not counted.
What's the difference between an Admin and a Team Manager?
Admins have full dashboard access and can see data across all teams. Team Managers are scoped to the team(s) they're assigned to — they see only their team's devices, queues, and projects. Admins are the more powerful role and are limited more strictly.
Is there a free trial for paid plans?
Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial, no credit card required. The Free tier has no time limit — you can stay on it as long as you want.
Can I upgrade or downgrade later?
Yes, at any time. Upgrading is instant. Downgrading takes effect at the next billing cycle. Your data is never affected by a plan change.
What does support look like on each plan?
Free gets community support via GitHub Issues. Starter gets email with a 48-hour target. Team gets priority email with a 24-hour target. Business gets a written SLA with an 8-hour response guarantee plus a quarterly review call.
I need more than 200 devices or Business limits — what do I do?
Contact us directly. We offer custom cloud plans for teams that have outgrown Business. If you also need self-hosting or data sovereignty guarantees, Enterprise is likely the better fit.
Is my data safe in the cloud version?
Yes. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored in EU data centres, and never shared with third parties. For full data sovereignty, Enterprise self-hosted is available.
